Welcome to Fun in the Forest. 2010 promises to be even more memorable than previous years.  The hog roast, curry and breakfast kept everyone fuelled for plenty of games and the social entertainment.  We have an amazing band lined up for this year and the tournament format promises to make this the most memorable social tournament you will attend in 2010. 

FIFT is a dedicated annual hockey tournament run at Old Loughtonians Hockey Club on the Whitsun Bank Holiday weekend.

Old Loughtonians has unrivalled facilities and is in a fantastic position.  It is near both Stansted and Luton airports, as well as close to all the central london train stations.  Its facilities mean it is one of the premier hockey clubs in the country and has 2 astros (one waterbase), one mini hockey pitch and an amazing clubhouse.  It also has the benefit of being solely a hockey club so there are no other sports to worry about on the weekend.

The tournament starts on Friday evening.  People arrive throughout the evening - please let the organisers know if you need help in booking transport from the airports.  Pitch your tents and join the party.  This year we are providing free pizzas to teams who arrive at the clubhouse early enough.  Friday night is disco night and we expect those tour shirts to be worn with pride.

On Saturday the tournament kicks off with a wholesome breakfast and then the mens, ladies and mixed tournaments will start.  During the day there will be all sorts of entertainment including games, music playing on the sound system throughout the pitches!  Lunch and Dinner are obviously included in the entry fee and there is always plenty of Hog Roast.  The evening sees a live band and disco playing as well as more drinking games.   

On Sunday, breakfast, lunch and dinner (our famous curry night) are also provided with the mens, ladies and mixed tournaments finishing.  More fun follows in the evening with our special Europop night.  Monday is a chance to mix with some other clubs as we have a large mixed tournament for everyone - fun being the main word.  Sign up to play in one of these teams over the course of the weekend.  All of this for only £60 per person
